Amy Rassman
Founding Partner
Amy Rassman founded Rassman Design based on principles that guide us still: a steadfast focus on the success of our clients and deep commitment to the integrity of our work. She attended Buffalo State University and The Art Institute of Pittsburgh before moving to Denver in 1982. After establishing her reputation at several agencies and studios, she recognized the opportunity to launch a company “where the strength of the creative solution would be tempered by good business sense and achieving the goals of the client would be the measure of success.” Rassman Design opened in 1990. Her intuitive understanding of client needs, and passion for creative problem solving is the cornerstone of our company.
John Rassman
Partner, Creative Director
John Rassman serves as our creative director and works tirelessly toward our goal of “an imaginative process built on collaboration and creative cross-pollination.” John attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and built his career combining a love of illustration and design. Since joining the Rassman Design partnership in 1990, he has focused these skills and works to bring energy and vitality to every client’s brand. The successful results have been exhibited nationally and abroad. John has received recognition from Communication Arts, Print, Graphis, Who’s Who in American Graphic Design, Creativity and American Corporate Identity. But most importantly, he has built a track record of long-standing client relationships. John is a founding member of the AIGA Denver chapter.
Lyn D'Amato
Art Director
Lyn D’Amato has been an integral part of the Rassman team since near inception and serves as art director and creative manager. She moved to Colorado in 1986 to attend the Colorado Institute of Art with a focus on visual communication. Since joining the firm in 1992, her inventive and strategic design solutions have lead Rassman Design to many successes and her work has earned the respect and recognition of the local and national design community. She has been involved at many levels with nearly every brand we work with and our clients trust her creativity, focus and dedication. In her other career, Lyn travels on two-wheels, and has been racing bikes on and off-trail professionally since 1999.
Andy Schneider
Senior Designer/Developer
Andy has been with Rassman Design since 2002. He is a graduate of Colorado State University where he honed skills as a creative and strategic problem solver. Andy has a special interest in new and emerging media and serves as both designer and web development specialist. He has also been involved in the successful implementation of many recent integrated branding projects for corporate, retail and non-profit clients. Outside of the office, Andy is an accomplished musician and performer.
Liz Custer
Designer
Liz joined Rassman Design from the agency world with a depth of experience in multi-touch campaigns and advertising. She is a Colorado native and earned her design degree at CSU with a minor in art history. Her adaptable style and attention to detail strengthens her solutions across all aspects of brand application, and she especially enjoys the impact of poster design. Beyond our doors, Liz pursues fine art through drawing and painting, and enjoys opportunities to experience live music.
Jeff Ziese
Accounting
Jeff Ziese has been helping to keep the gears greased at Rassman Design for well over a decade. In addition to sound business advice, Jeff manages the financial ins and outs for our accounts and those who serve them. He carefully balances his attention to detail and precise accounting with a creative approach and a smile. And when Jeff’s happy, we’re all happy. Jeff loves to camp, 4-wheel and spend time at his mountain home.
